What do we love more than ice cream? Hanging out with our neighbors on a sunny summer afternoon! The Alameda Neighborhood Association is hosting a FREE Ice Cream Social for Alameda residents. Alameda Neighborhood Social Sunday, September 11 from 3-5 pm Location Alameda School Square next to the playground Come get to know the ANA board, meet your neighbors and let your kids and dogs run around while enjoying an ice cream treat!  Hope to see you there Neighbors! Non-dairy treats available too.

Big Spring Clean Up! Saturday May 14

Happening this Saturday: Alameda Big Spring Clean Up! AND the “Too Good for the Dump” Flea-market! Bring your unwanted goods & materials by the load for affordable hauling, recycling and up-cycling of usable goods! Saturday May 14, 8:30am to 12:30pm At The Madeleine School Soccer Field parking lot $10 – small load  $20 – large load Trucks to be negotiated 100% of proceeds to be used by the ANA on neighborhood issues. Sponsored by Metro Computers and computer accessories (nominal per part charge to drop off) On Site “Too Good for the Dump” Flea-market Clothes, furniture, tools, art, toys, or whatever gets dropped off Non-recyclables will be dumped at Metro As much as possible will be given to Free Geek and Goodwill PROHIBITED MATERIALS • Paint and other liquid solvents • All construction, remodeling or demolition materials • Kitchen garbage • Residential yard debris and trimmings • Recyclables collected curbside.
